2.    Pricing includes engraving up to 2 name panels one face.
3.    Shipping covers a Cemetery or Business that can unload the stone lower 48 only*
4.    Graphics are produced after purchase of the stone and must be approved by you before we start the engraving process**
5.    You are responsible for the setting or placement of the monument
6.    The delivery address must be on the transaction order.  Your home address will not work.

1.    Most cemeteries will have restrictions on  monuments that range from type and size and often can include color, designs, finishes and more.  You will need to function as the contact person with the cemetery and make sure you understand the type of stone you are looking at will meet their requirements. Please contact them for this guidance prior to purchasing a stone.
2.    Listed price includes the front face carving of this stone as shown (names, dates).     The monument is veneered with shelves
3.    Shipping, as priced in our listing, covers delivery by Common Carrier LTL service to a Cemetery or Business with business hours and employee’s for receiving shipments and capable of unloading the stone. Lower 48 states only.  This allows us to contract the best pricing terms for our shipments.  If you need to change this service there will be additional shipping fees. Please contact us prior to purchase to get a quote for your particular situation.  Unmanned cemeteries without full time employee’s are not covered in the current shipping fee.  Residential delivery is not covered and will incur additional cost please contact us for pricing prior to purchase for exact costs to your needs.  The ship to address must be on your order we will not and can not change the ship to address.  Carriers can be set to call prior to delivery or will call to set appointment.  Any missed deliveries will incur a redeliver fee.  A shipping notice will be generated when the stone ships along with a tracking that will be loaded the next day.  We will need the name of the person at the ship to location that will be responsible for unloading and signing for the stone.  In addition we will need a contact number for this person.  This is all information to be supplied to the carrier so to ensure as smooth delivery as possible.  Understand and please note when we see issues with any stone purchase the vast majority are with delivery and all most without exception those are to locations not covered.  If you have to change to a non covered ship to location you really need to understand the risk you have caused in this decision.
4.    A graphic of your stone will be created by our designer and sent to you through your personal email you have attached to this account.  We do not create graphics prior to purchase but will in any instance refund 100% of cost of purchase if we are unable to get a graphic design that meets your needs.  In addition many Cemeteries will require design approval as standard procedure.  The graphic we provide will meet their needs for approval and we will not engrave any stone prior to your approval.  Again in any instance if the design does not meet the cemetery approval and we are unable to make changes that will allow the stone to be placed we are happy to refund 100%.  Custom designs outside of simple changes to designs shown will add design costs to the stone.  If you have ides as to what you want for a design please contact us prior to purchase for pricing.
5.    The setting or placement of the stone will be your responsibility.  Many cemeteries will offer stone setting for a fee, some retail dealers will set stones shipped in but not all.  In some cases our customers set the stone.  We do not provide specific instructions on this but would refer you to many sources of stone setting on YouTube.
6.    The final delivery address must be on the sales transaction order.  Simply said this is the ship to address in the system.  You can change this address at the time of the order on your checkout screen.   We will not and can not change the ship to address after the order is placed as it violates this sites shipping policy.
7.  There is not a function in the system for you to enter your information directly into a design.  You will need to send your design choice and additional engraving information to us through the contact seller option in the checkout screen or on your order summary.  There is also a contact seller email function that you can send your information through after the purchase.  We do not take information over the phone or prior to purchase.  Simple design changes to those shown in the additional pictures may be possible at no additional charge but significant changes along with custom designs will have costs reflective of the time spent to create.  Contact us prior to purchase if you have a design and want a quote.
8. Carved Impressions ships thousand of stones per year with a less than 1% damage occurrence.  Please make sure to inspect or have your delivery location inspect the stone for damage prior to signing for the delivery and refuse the stone if there is damage.  If possible take a picture of the damage for us and contact us ASAP.  Carved Impressions will remedy the issue with repair or replacement as quickly as possible.  We will file any appropriate claim actions on the stone.  Understand that when you accept and sign for the stone you are acknowledging that the stone has arrived without defector damage from the shipping.  Damage reported to the carrier after the stone is signed for will most likely not be covered with any recourse.
9. We will deliver a monument with the exact engraving you have approved.  Please note it is your responsibility to carefully inspect every character in the graphic proof we send you for accuracy.  We highly suggest having more than one individual involved in this process to eliminate errors.  When you approve the graphic that is what we will engrave- there is no opportunity after that initial engraving to change a mistake and in most cases a new stone is less expensive than attempting to correct an error.  Understand that any error in engraving that you have approved will not be corrected and the engraving will stand as completed so we can not stress enough the thoroughness that should be employed on examining the graphic for errors.
