This one is definitely a fixer upper. It's quite possibly the first micro machine set I ever got and seems to be somewhat rare going by the difficulty I had in trying to find similar listings. I found a few postings selling spare parts, but virtually none when it came to pricing the shell and figures so if anyone out there has a great military micro machines wiki type source I am missing shoot me a message and hook a brother up :P
Back to business though: Right off the bat let it be noted that this set is missing 2 of the stands that hold the weapon emplacements in place. It's also missing the light brown tents that originally came with this set (the one I have on there now is a loose micro machine tent unaffiliated with this set that I always used for it) I will send it along as well, but it's not factored into the price so consider that an extra. The watch tower is missing one of the prongs on the bottom and the foldout runway looks like it could spend a good year flattened between two very large books, but is otherwise present and accounted for.
As for the figures, the men are in great shape and the F-15 Eagle could use a touch of paint, but still has all its wheels and missiles intact.
Not a set without its problems to be sure, but if you are into restoration there is a lot here to work with on what is otherwise a rare and vintage piece of military micro machine history. If you get it put back together please send me some photos! I would love to see it restored to what it was like when I was a kid.
